So this last week was half term for my lovely little boy, which meant that there was not as much progress on the goals as usual. It was more of a “thinking” week rather than a “doing” week. I brought along my planners and notebooks when I took Jake to soft play, reviewed some ideas and solidified some others. Once upon a time I would bash out a little free-writing exercise while Jake was running around, but lately I’d just been scrolling Twitter or browsing Amazon – not very productive. I did make some actual, visible progress though, I tightened up the theme on the niche site, and did the background for it. I also messed around with Blender a little, to get a feel for doing three-dimensional words. Very handy knowledge to have, and something to add to my talent stack. Also good to get the creative juices going. I think once I’ve got a shirt or two up then I’ll switch back to the coaching course I’m doing. I’m a member of an ADHD support group on Facebook, and one of the tips was to work on two things at once, so when the feeling of procrastination hits, you’re more likely to switch to your other project than something unrelated. It’s working for me so far.
Targets for the week are to get two shirts on the niche site, two workouts, alongside just general tweaking and playing with the settings on my new sites.
