Not especially dramatic this week I’m afraid, just a nice look at my custom Spartan armour. I went with the Mjolnir Mark V helmet, the old Halo: Combat Evolved classic. No extra attachments on the helmet, I like the basic look of it. I use the “Commando” chest piece because it looks cool from the front with the two pouches, and it adds a “bum-bag” to my lower back, and I used to love those stupid things. I have a Tactical/UGPS on my left wrist because the display is orange, mostly. On my left thigh is a Tactical/Chobham – I have no idea why it has such an odd name, it’s just a cool piece of armour. Shoulder pads are Base Security, Knee pads are Gungnir.
My visor is not the standard dull yellow, it’s silver, which compliments the colour scheme of the armour which is dark orange and white. The helmet, shoulder pads and knee-pads have near-identical, thick white stripes on them regardless of what your colour scheme is, but I think having white as a secondary colour makes them stand out more, as strange as that sounds. The silver visor works really well with the bold white stripes. It’s fairly weak as far as themes go, but it’s a theme nonetheless, and I love the overall look.
