I’m struggling with working out how to structure files and folders – I’m still torn between using tags and folders because I like folders, I like things being organised, but on the other hand, tags keep things together and makes related things easier to find. Just one tap of a tag and I can see everything that has the tag as well as every note that mentions it – a lot easier than finding a specific file in a nest of folders. It’s like my ADHD and Autism fighting against each other…

Still just transferring stuff over from Miro today, working out how to structure the folders, tags and notes. I’m working later so I don’t have too much time, but I’m trying to make the most of it. I flirted a little with index pages and tag pages, but I felt that made some connections too strong as they were linked with tags and index pages, and I didn’t want to have to keep manually adding more and more notes to an index once I’d written it.

Inspiration struck today and I had to jot some ideas down for one of my game ideas. When inspiration strikes you just have to go with it – doing something is better than doing nothing. I’m working tonight so didn’t get much done.

I was mostly moving game ideas over today, fleshing them out a lot and putting down some new ideas. Took me longer than I thought because I couldn’t stop adding thoughts and extras.

I made a quiz for Jake today, all about Formula 1 circuits, I hope he enjoys it.

I definitely decided on the structure to use in Obsidian today – that’s one less thing to fret about. I was trying to find a one-size-fits all approach, but each of the four distinct aspects I’m using it for demand a slightly different format. Glad to have nailed it down though. The Personal stuff radiates from a Mind Map of To-Do lists and broadly collected subjects, whereas the Lore writing connects in several different and unexpected ways.
