Vortex Point

So, what is this week’s game? It is… Vortex Point!

Now, with this being a point and click mystery-type game, I will have to try and explain it without giving too much of the story away… This is going to be difficult. It does everything that a point and click should, really.

I can’t really mention anything about the puzzles or story for fear of giving things away – it really is best if you play this yourself. I’m not really sure what to talk about now. I could talk about an idea I had I guess, which was to do video versions of these, switching them over to YouTube. But – this game is one reason why I’m not going to do that. Writing up my thoughts and encouraging people to play flash games is a different kettle of fish compared to recorded play-throughs of flash games. I figure if you watch someone play a game, especially a flash game, you won’t want to play it yourself, and a main aim of this series is to promote nice little games, rack up some extra hits for developers who could one day go on to create the next Fez or Braid.

Anyway, back on track, give Vortex Point a whirl, it’s quite fun, and will give your brain a nice little test. Here’s the link: http://www.notdoppler.com/vortexpoint.php
