So I recently posted my latest picture on DeviantArt and then on Facebook, and the feedback has been amazing, it’s given me a real boost in creative confidence. To say I’m proud of it is an understatement – it’s without a doubt the greatest piece of art I have ever created – and the only time I’ve not fallen short of my own expectations. I’ve had moments that promised so much, like half-way through the Batman piece I thought to myself “This is the best picture EVER”, but by the end it had lost the spark, and it was another tiny disappointment, but Ruby just turned out great.
Everything from the colours to the lines to the overall attitude and feeling, I think I’ve found my visual style.
