Day three brought a real inspiration (as opposed to the semi-inspirational woodland of day two) – Butterfly World.
I made sure I got some amazing shots. Surely the one with the green pattern looks too much like a tasty caterpillar? It’d be eaten in no time. Can’t wait to use their patterns in some kind of creative endeavour. I also had a play around with the settings on my camera while taking snaps of the water jets. Some look like flowing water, some look like blobs of water. Same fountain, different setting. Fascinating.
We then went off to Seaview Wildlife Encounter, where we encountered some wildlife and had a view of the sea. Then we went to the beach for a bit, and Lewis and I made a sand castle with a moat and everything. After that we went out for tea, to the “Nab Bar”. I have no idea why it has such an odd name. Just as we sat down, we noticed a few ants crawling around. I went to get soem drinks, and as I was coming back to the table everyone had moved to a different table because the “few” ants had multiplied into about a million ants. Anyway, I had the Mega Mix Grill. It was awesome.
We then went to the dancing pub and drank some alcohol. Jane and I had a little dance with Ethan, and Lewis got scared when he went up to take part in the dancing competition.
