So Claire was going out so she asked me to watch her shortbread and take it out of the oven when it was golden brown. I kept an eye on it while playing Lips with Lewis, took it out when it was nice and golden, but later found out I had killed it because it was in there for too long. But maybe it wasn’t my fault, maybe it was the icing sugar that made them hard. Who knows.
I was also reminded to use a cloth or towel or something to take the tray out of the oven as THE TRAY WILL BE HOT!!! My gosh, I’m glad I was reminded – I had no idea that THINGS IN OVENS WOULD BE HOT!!!
