Lips: I Love the 80’s is absolutely amazing, I have to mention this. Jane has always loved 80’s music and picked it up in Asda earlier in the week. An inspired decision, I must admit. I was surprised how many songs I knew – or at least thought I knew! It seems I mostly only know the catchy chorus bits, but we still scored plenty of Bronze and Silver Cups, we even got a Gold Cup on one song (You get a Cup if you rank in the top 1000 – the higher, the better). I can see us playing that disc more than the other three combined!
Jane and I had a sneaky session on it earlier on in the week, went through a good selection of the tunes on offer and mopped up some of the easier Achievements (the party medal and performance medal are almost impossible not to get if you’re paying attention) and Avatar Awards. There are some great songs on there which I didn’t actually realise I liked until I sang them. Stuff like Tainted Love, Don’t Leave Me This Way, Gold, Rio, Come On Eileen, Shout, all great songs that are fun to sing. And of course we had to have a go on Walkin’ On Sunshine. Then last night we gave it a proper go on the downstairs 360 with Claire and Lewis – Hopefully tonight will yield another good session.
