Well, seeing as we’re not going to be playing PSU for much longer, I figure it’s about time I reveal the glitch.
First of all, put Megiverse on the X button of a TECH-Mag.
Hold B, as if you were about to change weapons.
Hold RB – as soon as you do this, release B.
As soon as you release B, hold X.
Release RB and X, enjoy your free Megiverse.
You’re essentially casting Megiverse after you’ve switched weapons. You can repeat this multiple times by equipping more TECH-Mags with Megiverse, but the timing does get harder once you’ve cast one or two as the game slows down a bit. My record is four casts – which is probably the maximum as Megiverse doesn’t last too long.
Hold on, did I say free Megiverse? Why yes, I did. The PP from the Megiverses still drain from the weapons, but if you switch to one you’ve just glitched a Megiverse with, as long as the weapon has 1 or more PP left, it should automatically refill on the next tick.
It works best on areas that don’t cause slowdown. Forget using it in places like Rykros RELICS and missions like Flowery Pursuit. This also works with Regrant, and in combination with Megiverse. I have in the past glitched a Regrant to keep a Jarba flinching in a corner, then glitched a couple of Megiverses a few times to recoup the health that Regrant was taking away.
