We lost our internet connection yesterday. I never realised how much of a boredom reducer it was. Done all your tasks for the day? Mum hogging the TV? Play Halo 2 on Live! Browse Gamesradar! Write some blog!
“You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone”
Too true.
*thanks God for everything I have, and never wanting to lose them*
Well, I say God, but I’m not religious in the slightest. Must be a turn of phrase.
I just sold Hero Quest and Space Crusade to good ol’ melatonin. More childhood memories gone… Or is it? I truly believe that during my childhood there was another person acting on my behalf, as all my memories up until like 8 years ago are in the third person. Bizarre. I can remember “doing” things that I would never dream of doing now, they would be totally out of character. Maybe I should see a psychiatrist. Or even a spelling tutor.
Anyway, must be off, got an interview tomorrow, nice and early, yes, a job interview! Wish me luck, etc.
This has been toxic, signing off for the evening.
