Yes, twenty-two days without a post on here – some kind of record. A very bad record.
I have time on the PC, but I have no idea where to start with anything, and I feel I have so much to do. And there’s no telling how long it is before Ethan comes in and starts being noisy and very distracting – the bad thing about my PC being down here in the garage/playroom/study now is that I share the room with Ethan’s Lego, and sometimes a noisy Ethan as well.
So, what jobs do I have to do?
I have to write this list.
I still have two episodes of Halo 2 and an episode or two of Dark Souls to edit and publish, I have no idea if that will ever happen. I think I said I wasn’t going to worry about YouTube until I had enough time to do so, but these still weigh heavy on my mind as an unfinished job.
Oh, and I want to do some intro’s and outro’s for my videos too. I know what I want to do for them and I have ideas on how to create them, but it’s finding the time to do them.
I have to transfer all the posts and videos from the failed community site to the new RF site. I have to do this manually to some degree, copy and paste only goes so far, and doesn’t always provide the best results.
As well as that, I need to sort out the look of the new site, it’s a little too red at the moment, it’s a bit of an eyesore to be honest. It needs graphics.
After I’ve done all this I want to draw pictures. I have a horrible nagging feeling that I need to do all the other stuff first, I just can’t relax enough to draw while all this other stuff is piled up.
Oh, and on top of all that, I stupidly moved over all of my music from one HDD to another, and thought that was the end of it, forgetting that now Windows Media Player has to repopulate the library. And it’s taking ages.
Related to that, I need to format the old drive so I can sell it on, but I dare not even try that until Windows Media Player has sorted itself out. There’s a bunch of other stuff I need to sort for eBay too, like the entire series of Assassin’s Creed videogames, which I have decided I will never have enough time to play.
It’s not even like I want to do these things just for the fun of it, each of those items above will contribute financially somehow to my life thanks to ad revenue. The bigger I can make the sites, the forum and the YouTube channels, the more money I earn. I was pretty close to covering my costs a few months ago, but since I have not been focusing on this, the amount has drastically gone down.
