I felt Flipper on Wednesday. I’ve seen them on a screen, heard them through a speaker, but I physically felt them move, inside Jane. I was expecting it to be a well-defined kicking motion, but it was more like someone hitting a drum. From the inside! I keep saying “them”, even though we know it is just one baby, because we don’t know the sex. I use the term “them” rather than “he” or “she” when talking about the baby to people I know too, and their first reaction is always “THEM???”, as in “more than one???”, and I have to reassure them that there is only one baby coming.
The RGF this week (Fishy Waters) is slightly late (as is this post), and the one and only RFTV video on YouTube is cutting it fine too. Once it is uploaded it will be here. I’ve been preoccupied with building the main site, so much so that I have been cutting out editing and playing (then writing about) random games. I’ve got a healthy checklist of jobs to do, such as re-do the graphics and content order on the landing page, link the forum to the blog (I know, I’ve been saying I’ll do this for ages), and go back and fine-tune the category and tag hierarchy. I really want to do this so I can start promoting the blog, forum and YouTube channel as a more of a united entity, get a community going.
