Let’s start with work. I suffer from dry skin on my fingertips (of all places), and if I handle a lot of stock then the skin does tend to crack. I cracked my fingers at work on Sunday – not a good way to start a working week for sure. They usually end up cracked by Wednesday or Thursday, but that’s ok as I have Friday and Saturday off for them to heal, but for them to crack on a Sunday is generally a bad thing. The worst cracks were on the thumb and middle finger of my left hand – the parts of finger that I use to hold pencils and styluses with. I wore plasters most of the week and they are near enough healed now, but it was frustrating for sure, not being able to do any drawing at all for a few days when I really was in the mood for it.
Christmas is fast becoming a reality – can you believe it’s the end of November already?
I played my first genuinely bad game on Random Game Friday – Bomb A Bomb. The idea was good, but the execution was badly flawed. In other videogame news, I’ve followed up Costume Quest with another Double Fine game, as this week I have mostly been playing Iron Brigade, which is very good. A more cartoony version of Chromehounds that takes itself a little less seriously, if you will. I really quite fancy an Xbox One you know, but I have about eight million games to polish off on the old 360 before I jump ship. If I were to get a new Xbox I know I would never touch the old one again.
