I do not recognise that particular meal

How come some people just can’t get their head round that you like to eat Asda Smart Price pre-cooked chicken washed down with a banana and strawberry smoothie? And why do other people feel the need to scoff at you when you want to eat a poached egg with no bread? Dairy (especially full-fat dairy), makes me bloated, why is almond milk laughable? Why is eating Chinese style chicken breast and a vine of baby tomatoes any worse than eating pizza? If anything it is much better, as there’s no dough! Are you not allowed to deviate from the norm and add a tin of tuna to a shop-bought pre-made paella? I don’t want to add cheese to my scrambled egg – I know you may want to, but I don’t want to, thanks!

Is it because it is not a “traditional” or “recognised” meal or way of doing things? Because it is not in cook-books? I just don’t get it.
