After only a few days I’m up to 147, and those were just the blindingly obvious ones. As I said, I never add anyone, I always let them come to me, but there are people who I like and respect but am strangely not “friends” with on Facebook. I didn’t keep track of exactly how many invites I sent out, but I reckon there are a few that have been seen but not accepted… Some people just can’t move on.
I’ve certainly changed as a person in the last ten-fifteen years. I’m a whole lot more tolerant, a hell of a lot less aggressive, and I’ve learned to live by the saying “Treat others as you would like to be treated”. Although saying that, there were a fair few familiar faces that I decided not to send requests. Obviously I’m not a totally grown-up and mature person yet.
