On the desk

Oh, hi. Work is going well – I recently had my two-week review thing and expressed my concerns that I was not being used to my full capabilities, and lo and behold, I was put on the desk yesterday to get a feel for it, with a view to reorganising the Music and Video department. It’s a pretty big mess, which I covered in the first part of this post. Some of the guys told me that every time someone new starts they try to organise things, but fail. I will not fail.

I’m really looking forward to starting Fable III properly. I’ve only scratched the surface so far, but I’ve already encountered a horrible moral decision – one which I really can’t begin to work out which the “good” option is. Jane’s played it more than I have so far, and I’ve only watched snippets of her in action, but it seems a little bit more like “Fable II 2” than “Fable III – The Third Game In The Series”, if you get me. Still, looking forward to it.

Intrigued by the hype at Asda for Eclipse, I recently watched the first two Twilight films. They were awful. The script was bad, the acting awfully over-egged, and the special effects would’ve looked great in Shrek. Still, I can see why teenage girls love it.
