I’ve been watching Postman Pat quite a lot recently – how he’s not been sacked for gross misconduct is beyond me. Every episode, he fucks up and although it does eventually work out in the end, he’s incredibly negligent. If he’s not losing the labels off packages, turning up incredibly late or letting live animals out of their travel enclosures, he’s mixing parcels up and delivering them to the wrong people or opening parcels not addressed to him as if it wasn’t against the law. No wonder so much post is going missing nowadays – my guess is that the kids who grew up watching it and became postmen subconsciously learned that this lack of care is acceptable in a postman. Maybe. Or they’re just thieving buggers who see “play.com” or “Amazon” on the front of a package and see it as a free new mystery DVD/game.

Anyway, Super Street Fighter IV is here! And it’s amazing. I was a bit worried at first as none of Adon’s moves seemed to be safe even when they hit, and they drop him so close to the other guy… But I’ve overcome this fear now, as I’ve realised his recovery is short enough so he can block or throw some fast pokes or even retreat with a weak Jaguar Tooth. Also, it may drop him in close, but it’s perfect throw distance – just need to remember to mix things up so as to not become predictable. Found some nice Ultra set-ups too, so all signs are good for my Dan/Cammy/Adon trio. I’m a bit sad we’ve lost Indestructible – I hated it at first but grew to love that damn cheesy song.
It not being in there makes Super Street Fighter IV feel the tiniest bit incomplete.
“There he goes look, fucking something else up no doubt” 😆
Seriously, he’s a walking disaster zone. He very rarely gets a parcel to anyone on time (although he gets it there eventually, it must be said), he never closes the doors on his van properly and I’m sure there’s some kind of Health and Safety directive stating you can’t bring animals to work with you unless you are in the Dog Unit in the Police, or work in a zoo.
