Oh yes it was. Lots of nice food and lots of nice drink, lots of time with Jane, lots of cool presents, I had a nice time. It’s back to normality tomorrow though, as everyone goes back to work and I resume studying/job-hunting. There were a few things I missed, it being my first Christmas away from my Mum and Brother, such as waking up to find a stocking full of nick-nacks at the bottom of my bed, singing along to the radio playing Take That’s “Greatest Day” up the stairs with my brother, walking up the road to Maggie and George’s for the Xmas lunch, coming home from there and pigging out on Quality Street while watching one or two of the DVD’s I got for Xmas… It was different this year.
It’s my brother’s birthday today (Happy Birthday dude!), shame I didn’t think and sort out with Mum to go over for it and see him. Ah well, I’m thinking of popping over one day next week – I’d like to shake his hand too, as David and Katie announced at Christmas that they are planning on getting married this year. I’m so happy for them.
My RF Secret Santa got me a black Resident Evil 5 colour changing mug which clearly says (in a huge white font) on the bottom that it is not Dishwasher safe. Some moron has put it in the dishwasher already, so the colour changing panel is starting to peel off, not a month after I first started using it. Morons.
