Hello there, welcome to another instalment of Random Game Friday! This week I’m playing Tank Travel – a game in which you control a tank and you travel around in it! Shocker!
So yeah, control a tank, shoot enemy turrets, dodge their attacks, shoot chains to access stars, go up and down elevators, things like that. The mechanic behind this system are familiar – earn currency in the game to spend on upgrades, which in turn let you kill things quicker and earn more currency. It’s a standard motif in most games nowadays. I still find moving with the keyboard and aiming with the mouse a bit odd to be honest. I guess I’ll never get there, I’ll be a console gamer for life.
