Hello there, RGF time again, and this week I’m playing an absolutely beautiful game called OFFS3T.
You are tasked with reverse-manipulating images back to their original state using a variety of techniques, which get more and more inventive as the game goes on. It starts simply with obvious shapes that move to obvious places, but later on you are rotating and resizing and moving at the same time, changing portions of an image like a TV set flicking through channels, or just smashing an image down to reveal one behind it.
It’s not the usual kind of thing I feature here, the graphics are much higher resolution for a start, but I think it’s good to mix things up from time to time! But then again, it is a typical kind of game that is featured here, as I found it to be incredibly inventive, and stunning to look at – my favourite combination.
My top tip in general: Enjoy the pictures.
My top tip for winning the game: Don’t ever let go of a piece you’re moving!
