It’s random. It’s a game. It’s Friday. That means one thing – I’m playing a random new game.
This week, it’s another game in the Infectionator series: Infectionator World Dominator. Now, I didn’t know there was more than one Infectionator game, but I can definitely see the resemblance. While it may not have as much character as the other Infectionator game that’s been featured here (Hot Chase), it is just as addictive – it has that “just one more go” feel to it. The premise is simple – let off some kind of airborne virus which turns people into zombies, who in turn infect more people and so on, until the town or city is void of life, which means you win! Infected people drop coins, which you collect in a Plants Vs Zombies fashion with your mouse, then spend it on upgrades so you can infect harder and faster – Clear all the cities in one region and move on to the next – it’s standard stuff.
Later on you can also start deploying powerful zombies which do tend to survive a bit better against the army – but the choice of characters is absurd. You’ve got Ronald McDonald laying infectionating burgers, Venom – yes, the Spider-Man enemy – throwing web everywhere, and Michael Jackson doing the Thriller all over the option. The different areas are more than just superficially different – things get much harder once you get to Russia and the United States – places with relaxed gun laws – but there’s not really much else to say about it.
Here’s that link again – http://armorgames.com/play/5349/infectonator-world-dominator, give it a little play.
Are there any games you’d like me to feature? Please feel free to let me know if there is. Thanks for reading!
