That atrocious title was a pun as I’m updating my mp3 player now – and it’s so fucking slow. Probably doesn’t help that I’m going from an external hard-drive, through the PC, to an SD card inside my mp3 player, but hey whatever.
What I really need is one of those mp3 players with stupidly massive storage, something like the 160 gig iPod Classic, but not a fucking Apple product. That way I could be a lot less selective, and just chuck new stuff straight on there without having to remove old stuff first.
Hey – just as I was writing this it seems the mp3 player knew it was on the “upgrade me” list – it stopped copying stuff across and just died. Got it working eventually, but half the tracks I wanted to put on it are not on it. Bloody technology.
