So I’ve just finished Jury Service. It was an interesting experience, one that I do hope I get the chance to do again one day. I served on two cases, the first was really a “worst case scenario”, something that every prospective juror must hope they don’t get. Oral, vaginal and anal rape. Not good. The second case was a bit odd – one that I feel was blown out of all proportion if I’m honest.
Still, it was fun, something different, very challenging and mentally draining. It was nice to feel like a normal person as well – getting up at a reasonable time, getting a bus in to town, having lunch in the park, coming home in time for tea – I could quite easily enjoy a life where that is my daily routine.
