I’ve just been really, really busy.
Due to people going on holiday, I’ve been working far more than I’d like. I really must amend my availability contract…
Have I mentioned that I’ve been drawing a lot recently? I can’t think why I stopped in the first place. Well, I bought a Bamboo graphics tablet to enable me to get into digital art and I’ve spent a fair amount of time playing with it – these developments will be discussed in great detail at a later time. What sparked that creative lust once more? I discovered an excellent magazine called ImagineFX. It’s filled with inspiration, and it made me feel like I should pick up a pencil and draw some stuff. Also, they had an offer on, which I took advantage of – Subscribe and get a copy of Artrage (a PROPER, OFFICIAL art program!). I was worried for a while that I’d missed out, as they only had 350 copies of it and I subscribed quite late into the offer, but I did get a copy in the end. And it’s great. I had a play with it, and so far my stuff is a little… scrappy… but it’s a learning process. I think the plan is to open a new WordPress site, dedicated to my art, open a DeviantArt account, and get my work out there.
I feel kinda bad that I’ve been on the computer, but not blogging. I can only apologise.
This last week or so I’ve been on Jury Service. It’s great fun, but very testing, emotionally. Very draining.
I also had a mini nervous breakdown, which was awesome…
