Ah, so funny. Bad puns are awesome.
Remember this? More specifically, the post about how I can’t get a picture of a fox? Well, I got some. Granted, the fox was injured and not at all itself – out in plain sight in the daylight, hobbling around on three legs with a back end ravaged by mange – I still got some pics though!
The first picture was taken from the boys’ bedroom window, the second from the kitchen window. It’s so odd to see a fox during daylight, even more so to see it curled up in open ground during daylight. The third picture was taken a short while after, it had gotten up and had a quick drink from the pond. You can see it doesn’t look itself just from the expression on it’s face. Poor thing.
The man from the RSPCA came and took it away. From what I’ve seen on TV vet programs, if the bone is broken than they’ll probably put it down. If it’s just a sprain or muscle problem then he’ll be treated and released back to the wild. I hope it’s just a sprain, poor thing.
We’re not expecting an update on the fox’s condition, but if we get one I’ll let you know.
