So I went to my Mum’s yesterday, it was lovely. Because of the snow and other random issues, we still hadn’t given David his Birthday presents from the beginning of January, so it was nice to finally be able to do that. David and Katie told me the date for their Wedding (does the word “wedding” require capitalisation? I am unsure) – 27th May. David asked me if I would be his Best Man, and I accepted. Thinking about it now, will I be required to do a speech? Oh my, the nerves have started already. Will I have to take him to a strip club for his Stag Night? Anyway, the theme for the Wedding is “Black and White”, which basically means you can wear anything you want as long as it is black or white. I’m toying with wearing a dress.

David also gave me a belated Christmas present, it had not arrived from Japan in time for the big day itself, and upon opening it I was greeted by Majin Buu and an actual packet of Senzu Beans… Utterly amazing. He’s sitting there on the window ledge now (well floating really) between Master Chief and Guile.
The day was also good because I got to play with my adorable little Jasmine again – it’s funny how much of a change I see in her every time I go over. She’s a lot more vocal now, and she has totally mastered crawling backwards. She still needs to have that “Eureka” moment of moving her knees and hands in time to go forwards, but she’ll get there soon – And when she does, there’ll be no stopping her!
