Exercising is fun, and as the title suggests, I’ve made some n00b gainz.
My trousers are looser, so I’ve clearly lost some belly fat. My weight has remained the same however, so I have built some muscle.
I do feel like I need to go more than once a week to cement these gainz in the long run though.
And it took me far too long to actually make it here.
In 2017 I sorted my mind out, and 2018 was supposed to be the year for really getting started on fixing the body.
I’m down a stone this year so far just by watching what I’m eating, and clearly there’s been some progress since joining the gym a few weeks ago, and I know it takes time.
It’s dangerous to think like that though.
Yeah, some time was wasted, but I’m on the right track now.
Negativity be gone.

I’m currently reading Deep Nutrition, which is fascinating. It doesn’t just cover food and nutrition – if you read between the lines it teaches a lot about traditions and rituals, and how recent generations have been foolish to sweep them aside as quaint and unneeded in our modern, technologically advanced times. I’ll do a review of it at some point, I’m sure.
